Die L2 deep brown Bronze weit mehr als nur eine ikonographische Taucheruhr. Sie ist ein elementares Masterpiece der Kooperation zwischen dem Schweizer Designer Fabian Schwaerzler und Maurice de Mauriac. Mit der deep brown Version ist der Träger der Uhr den Elementen und ihrer Kraft näher als je zuvor.

In extremen Tauchsituationen dringen Heliumatome in die Uhr ein. Bei der Dekompression können diese dazu führen, dass das Uhrenglas abgesprengt wird. Das Druckventil verhindert das, indem der Überdruck über das Ventil entweichen kann und man daher mit unsere L2 Uhren bis zu 300 Meter tief tauchen kann L2 Deep Brown Ziffernblatt
Ein erdiges Braun, wie man es bei manchen frisch gepflügten Feldern findet trifft hier auf Bronze, die älteste von Menschen geschaffene Metalllegierung. Das alles braucht Wasser. Die Bronze ist gleichsam auch perfekt gegen Wasser, denn die Bronze schützt sich selbst und macht sich unangreifbar gegen Wasser. Dazu passen 300 Meter Wasserdichtigkeit. Die L2 deep brown Bronze misst auch die Zeit, die wir die Luft atmen, vom ersten bis zum letzten Atemzug. Eine pathetische Uhr? Ja! Kaliber ETA 28.24-2

Ein wirklich gutes Zifferblatt hat eine perfekte Ablesbarkeit auch in sehr schlechtem und sogar bei gänzlich fehlendem Licht. Für Taucheruhren kann das unter Wasser lebenswichtig sein. Über Wasser ist es einfach extrem luxuriös, immer die Uhrzeit zu sehen, egal wann und wie man sie braucht. Der Designer Fabian Schwaerzler hat sich nicht nur darauf verlassen, das die beste Superluminova Lesbarkeit erzeugt. Er hat das Zifferblatt rigoros auf Lesbarkeit reduziert. In dieser Reduzierung liegt die ganze Kraft der L2. Und wenn viele Zifferblätter versagen, ist die L2 immer noch verlässlich lesbar. 1

A day to reflect on watch magic ✨
Two years ago today, something new began because something old had come to an end - without anyone looking for it. Massimo, Leonard and Masha lost their role model for what they are today: the movers and shakers behind MDM.
Daniel Dreifuss was suddenly missing not only as a family man and brand founder, but also as a great watch wizard, and the magic threatened to end.
Today, two years on, there are three watch wizards - and the magic has tripled.
In this time, three times as many watches have been developed, three times as many sold, and the magic still fascinates. It doesn’t always have to be the big moment when something dramatically disappears. It is the small magic that touches.

A little story on Sunday: It all started with a parcel that wasn’t delivered...A Portuguese customer’s new watches were not delivered by the parcel service. The parcel began an odyssey and at some point we decided that one of us would take it to Cascais personally.
Of course, you then call Portuguese friends to meet up. Miguel Seabra is one such long-time friend. Miguel, a watch enthusiast, immediately calls a few more watch lovers and we sit together on the beach in Cascais and talk watches and philosophize.
At moments like this, our family expands to include people who share a special love.
…And the conclusion of the story: something good can also come out of something bad.
