In extremen Tauchsituationen dringen Heliumatome in die Uhr ein. Bei der Dekompression können diese dazu führen, dass das Uhrenglas abgesprengt wird. Das Druckventil verhindert das, indem der Überdruck über das Ventil entweichen kann und man daher mit unsere L2 Uhren bis zu 300 Meter tief tauchen kann. L2 Rückseite in Stahl

Edelstahl ist nicht gleich Edelstahl. Wir verwenden 316 L-Edelstahl, einen der härtesten Edelstähle der Welt. Zusätzlich zur Härte und Beständigkeit zeichnet sich dieser Edelstahl bei einem entsprechenden Finish auch durch einen sehr feinen Silberton aus. Der Nickelaustoß ist bei 316 L-Edelstahl deutlich niedriger als zum Beispiel bei einem 904 L-Edelstahl, der auch hochfest ist. Für uns ein Grund, den 316 L-Edelstahl zu bevorzugen. Superluminova ist ein Phosphoreszenzleuchtstoff und frei von radioaktiven Zusatzstoffen. Superluminova ist hundert mal heller als andere inaktive Leuchtpigmente. Wenn die Leuchtpigmente durch Tages- oder Kunstlicht angeregt wurden, geben sie im Dunkeln die aufgenommene Lichtenergie über mehrere Stunden wieder ab. Das verleiht der Uhr eine extrem gute Lesbarkeit auch im Dunklen. 1
